You guys just need to see this thing:

I remember a Dominoes Pizza that had a fleet of these for delivery vehicles.
Hmmmm... It IS a production vehicle registered as an automobile, not a motorcycle; and I have an air cooled KZ 650 languishing in the garage.

Build a rectangular tube frame, make it a 4wheeler and add your engine. It's probably smaller than the Subaru microvan at the Challenge.
Isn't that one of those things that got recalled twice for poor braking and in the end the Fed's ordered the importer to recall them all as the brakes were still considered dangerouse?

YES IT IS! The ZAP! Xebra here (yes, that's how the company is named) is probably the AVE-brand "Chineseum" electric car you could buy- this one is illegal and should have been destroyed by court order in 2013. See that smashed dashboard to the left of the steering wheel? Preportedly if you knocked on it that would cause it to shatter. Apparently a controller swap brings the DC motor on these to a whole 26 horsepower but the motor itself is not a very well-built unit and can't sustain it. Arc flares are common, so it can start fires wherever it goes. It's also powered entirely by lead-acids, so upgrades from salvaged batteries is easily done but lmao why
I know of an ebike/motor company here in the states that is selling a used ZAP Alias, which I'm actually kinda tempted by since it's listed for like $3,000.

Great. Now I want it.
When Xebras are outlawed only outlaws will have Xebras
I love how stupidly dangerous this thing is apparently. I wonder if we can find one that runs for the Aging Wheels youtube guy to review. He loves crappy tiny electric cars.
