Wow. To the OP, I hope this is just a painful choice and not the result of something terrible happening.

Nothing terrible has happened.   There is a fair bit of burnout (so many false starts).  I have to admit I could have handled the whole build better........

Essentially the amount to have Brosseau's finish is no longer economically feasible (for me), I no longer have a working space(we lost that last April), nor do I have the necessary skills to properly finish this build myself.  That pretty much leaves me selling and trying to move on...

I'm super-bummed this project no longer makes sense for you to finish. It will be one of the most unique builds out there when done, reminiscent of American muscle at 7/8ths scale, only with Japanese engineering and quality.

That said, what an unbelievable head start for the next caretaker of this car! All the metalwork being done, with a built engine assembled and mated to a manual transmission in the car, crossmembers built, suspension gone through with powdercoat, new bushings and joints is huge.

I feel for your heartbreak; it must be really tough to come to the point of making a break from the project! 😢 I look forward to watching someone else take it on and bring it across the finish line! A continuation of the build thread is almost mandatory! 🤣

In reply to oldeskewltoy :

I can sort of relate.

Consider that you might have already obtained whatever it is that you needed from the project. A "finished" project is just a door into another level of the project. Mosses did not have to enter the end zone to put points on his scoreboard.
