I bet it's as good or better than my big block gas, crew cab, F350. Loaded is probably low teens to high singles. I'm usually mid singles loaded and low to mid teens empty.

The DT444 is the 7.3L, just with a different tune and a few other tweaks. It definitely isn't the engine to have in one of these(that is the DT466), but it wouldn't do too bad.

Yeah, I'd much rather have the DT466 too. That's probably one of the best engines Navstar ever put out.

Still for $9500, that truck is a steal.

I had a flatbed with the 444 in it. It wasn't a bad engine most of the time and there was no doghouse taking legroom in the cab.

One of my neighbors has a similar truck except with the DT466 and a 12' flatbed for sale right now for @$5k. I probably would have already bought it if it had juice brakes and a manual transmission, but it doesn't. It's a bit older and rougher than the add but if anyone is interested I'll get contact information.
