I get a fun feeling when I see those things. However, seeing as how the finished ones dont seem to draw much $$$ I woul go looking for the best finished one I could find.

What I really need is to drive one for a week to get it out of my system.

That Roadkill is doing one with a V8 in the back is not helping me.

Maybe I haven't been paying attention, or maybe the ones I've been seeing are delusional, but I thought that they were pulling decent money for them recently.

I'd love to drop one on a modern van chassis and make a car hauler.

The Dodge A100 is the forward control American truck to get. I think they're way better looking than the Ford or Chevy. Definitely get one with the corner rear windows, those are so cool. Like Nohome says, I'd rather get one in perfect shape if the price is still low on them.

The Jeep FC is pretty cool.

I want to put the front of a Volvo S70 T5 5M in the back of one of those  posted above  200+hp stock and probably wouldnt be too bad to get it to handle good enough for regular use.
