I saw this during a site recon on Tuesday. It even has a name
One issue with a school bus camper is the ceiling height. Most of them "barely" have 6' from the floor to roof. Adding any amount of flooring and ceiling insulation and finishing severely cuts into that. It's pretty common to raise the roof 12-18". Second, most buses are geared for local road use and can be noisy at hwy speeds. Both issues that can be overcome, but should be kept in mind when considering one.
