White coupe, never scratched or dented, 36,000 miles. Fanatically maintained. Bridgestone P71 R, fronts brand new, rears half-used.

Bump for Chuckles Cobalt SS.
I've known him 35 years or so, and known the car since he bought it new. I have driven it. This white compact car with only a small spoiler is a real sleeper. The second gen Cobalt SS with the turbo are a bargain. I think I remember one winning class at the SCCA runoffs one year. This one has $$$ quality mods. A 1.29 lap at Hallett in a FWD perfectly streetable car is seriously fast. Regular Hallett drivers feel free to comment. I'm surprised that there has not been any interest.
I think $11,000 for a car this condition, versatile and low miles is reasonable.
I have been on the track at the same time in my then S2000, and was about 10 seconds a lap slower. For clarification and fairness to all S2Ks out there, he is a really good driver (he road raced motorcycles for years) and I'm the guy who has fun but is about a C- on a good day.
But still, point is, this Cobalt SS is fast, practical and fun.
I'm nearing 70 y/o myself, and do not need this car.
But somebody here should!
Much want, terrible timing. I love, love, love the Cobalt SS Turbos. Such a fantastic car, look at how it stacked up (and how long it's record lasted) in the lightning laps.
It's even the right color. Ah well. GLWS!
Is this a 2 door or 4 door? (if there are pics posted, I can't see them)

That last words in the posting above are: Photos available by email
I did miss the first part.
The last part I saw, but that doesn't necessarily mean there are no photos in the post.
Thanks though.
Thanks, Owen.
Sorry about photos. I have some to email. It's just a white coupe without a scratch. I'm getting some nibbles from Autotrader.
I am a motivated seller. So, I repeat, OBO.
No CEL, just keys in the ignition for the picture he says!
Wow is it clean! Great looking car...
If I said this was the best set of Forums anywhere, I would represent that I had seen all of them. That would be ridiculous. Surely the best I have seen. Thank you, Accordion Folder.
There is no CEL. I just turned on the ignition to show the mileage, which is now 36,383.
By dumb luck, I took advantage of expensive development work done on GM's dime. This car turns in and lets you lean on the rears in complete safety. I would be a very hard car to spin, yet it doesn't plow.
Most of the miles are highway. I don't drive it much in town. Recently, I had a nephew getting married in Cincinnati and jumped in and went up and back. It is a comfortable traveler.
I won't bid against myself. OBO.
