The time may have come for me to admit that I just don't have the time for the SpitWankel project anymore. Hard to part with but will toss it out there and see if there is any interest.

I started with a very nice 77 Spitfire, California car with no rust. All body and trim parts are there. Minor body work was done on the tub by a professional shop and the car is in primer. Original color is Brooklands green. Has a later model GT6 bonnet that has been chemical dipped and primed. Needs minor rust repair in a couple spots about the size of your little finger, on the edges. I have a JDM Rotary and 5 speed trans out of a 2004 RX8 (cost $2,200). Had this compression tested by an RX shop here in Garland TX and they gave it a thumbs up. Also have RX8 diff and CV axles. Frame has been modified with new forward crossmember and old one removed to allow engine to sit at the correct height and clear the bonnet. Triumph diff mounts have been removed - planned to build new mount and springover rear suspension. Seats are nice. Door panels not that nice but not that bad either. May have new carpet set, can't remember. Comes with new top, new instrument panel from the guy who hand makes them and sells on ebay(cost $200+), *** New mechanical throttle body for RX8 (cost $450), 1" swaybar set.

I have the original suspension and hubs, front and rear. No wheels or tires.

I'm thinking $4K for everything.

If any serious interest I will get out the camera and work up a photo-pack.
