Dang. I had an 03 ARC a couple years ago that was a manual, and it was fun. I didn't realize that they got a turbo v6 eventually.

That is very tempting. Would likely be a decent challenge car or daily driver. I really need to forget that I saw this.

I'll help:

R title. Mad rust on rear fender. Seller notes the already sketchy electronics. I have a good buddy who was a Saab tech for many years. If these go, it's usually the modules themselves, which aren't cheap because they all are bad. And then you need to reprogram them to the car and stuff.

The v6 turbo also isn't the engine you want. You want the Ecotec turbo version.

The V6 Turbo in the later model Saabs are easily tunable and they are common to see 350-400hp with a tune and bolt-ons.  You may be thinking of the non-turbo V6's in the earlier models that no one should ever touch.

The V6T in the 9-3 Aero is a member of the GM "High Feature" V6 family still found in their cars and trucks today, not the boat anchor 3.0L from the Catera they foisted upon the earlier 9-5's with a V6T. These ones are a 2.8L and are a decent engine. These would be on my list for a cheap, fast DD.
