No chance of getting paperwork on this so it's going down the road. Good for ice racing or Rally.
The engine is out for painting, once it warms up I will reinstall it. The interior is out for welding up the floor, will install. The car was prematurely advertised somewhere so I have to follow up. I have $1200 invested and would like to get that back. I will make it run, time allowing I will do the interior. Everything is negotiable. Wheels are cleaned up and painted Navy blue, no tires yet; this week.
If you want to ice race or Rally and don't have a trailer, I will supply a tow bar - Saab has a free wheel option.

Man what a bummer about the paperwork. Sweet car.
10 out of 10 would Hoon.
I thought you could always get a title. Just may cost a bit.
Get a buddy with a shop to put a mechanic's lien on it? Get a title then "sell" to you?My brother just went through that to get a title for an older trailer in VA.
In reply to johndej :
Mechanics lien works in some states, not all. I think I know someone with a title and vin tags to match though.
Does your state have a reciprocity agreement with other states that allow registration on a bill of sale? For example, I live in Georgia. Tennessee will title a car that does not have a title if it comes from Georgia with a current registration and a bill of sale. Anything 1985 or older in Georgia can be registered on a bill of sale. I had an issue with a Yugo I bought many moons ago, ending up getting a title through someone in Maine. They registered it up there in my name with a POA once I had insurance on it, and then I transferred the title to a Georgia title after I received the Maine title. Just a couple of thoughts.
