It has been sold!!!!!!
Been a while since I've seen a complete Shockwave and I work for the son of the guy who made them. We still use a lot of old stock parts for the race team.
Glws, everyone needs some karting in their life

I heard they used two different chassis Parolin and Coyote, is there a way to tell which is which? I really like the pedal assembly I am considering keeping them.
I'm really not certain, all of it was a bit before my time. I don't know when the switchover was I know for a while they were having Rakama weld theirs up. So that might be a third possibility.
Are they still racing KT Sportsman karts? Is Yamaha still supplying parts? I ran KT pipe karts nearly 40 years ago. And Sportsman can karts 30 plus. My son ran one in the junior class when he was 8 in 1990 before we switched to the DAP TS50.
Back then the right KT cylinder was the difference between winning and first loser. I know the guys at CalKart in San Jose had a NOS cylinder that put out more power than any other one in the field. Won a Duffy with it and then sold the engine for 4k. Did Yamaha or the sanctioning orgs fix that? E36 M3, that was a long time ago.

Parts are still available the only class that I know of around me that runs KT100 regularly is Dart Kart Club, most are switching to the KA100 (or Lo206) which has a onboard starter but is $2500 just for the engine, and the rebuild intervals are 10 hours. Kt100 is definitely a fun engine and has the cool 2 cycle smell and sound. I am campaigning a Rotax Max, so just trying to thin the heard.
