Here's my TR-6 up for sale again. It's a 1972 by the way, not a 71
It sold on EBay a while ago, but the scumbag buyer claimed he pressed the "buy it now" button by accident---- ending my auction with 2 1/2 hours left. (just as it started getting good) He backed out, and I've been too busy to re-list it.
It is a running car, but not drive able as is. This is an excellent start for a TR-6 project, as it's an early car, and is very solid. The interior is complete, and it comes with spares galore.
I'm taking a loss on this as it is. For GRM and CMS readers I'll take $3K. Buyer is responsible for transport. No pay-pal. Cash talks. Make me an offer as I need the space for other projects, and I really want this to go to a good home.

Thanks!
The link just says "staff only."
aw crap--- let me fix the link...
Here you go:

Ok, it's time to pass some of my future projects on to better homes so I can focus on current projects. It sucks, but sometimes you need to let go!
So here is is..... a 1972 Triumph TR6. Very solid car with what appears to be original paint. Totally solid frame, body in very nice shape with a bit of surface rust. Originally a VA car. After a long slumber I got the car running again, and the motor runs well, and sounds good. Brakes and clutch hydraulics need to be bled in order to drive. A fantastic starting point for a TR6 project!
The car will be on Ebay later next week, but I wanted to give you guys the first shot. The car also comes with a TON of spares--- new dash, new chin spoiler, 2 extra seats, an extra diff, tons of gauges, and lots of misc. parts.

$3K Need to sell quickly so make an offer!

Does the wood block go with it ?
If I were retiring tomorrow, I'd buy that and a sand-blasting cabinet and get to work on a frame-off resto-mod. Sadly, you are 40 years too early. (Assuming I can afford to retire at 84)
No Karl......I'm not going to give you wood.
Oh. You are killing me.
The IS race car is for sale - right after July 11th when it goes for tech to get it's log book. I need it gone before I can afford to fly to FL and try to drive an LBC home with just basic hand tools and a AAA card.
In reply to Giant Purple Snorklewacker:
You know, fly and drives always sound basically like fun, but not enough like a Proper Adventure.
Now you're on to something. July 11th isn't all that far off, and while I wish Joe the best of luck with the sale, it doesn't seem to have evaporated yet...
I guess the only problem to sort out is whether you can fly to FL with the appropriate tool kit for a TR-6. Will they let you on a flight with a claw hammer these days?
The appropriate tools are in his wallet...
In reply to ransom:
I had a sorta plan for this laid out. I have a mole in Clearwater... so if I could get that far, fix the brakes, do whatever else seemed needy to make it home... I would have a reasonable starting point or a place to park it until the shipping guy showed up if it were really not cooperating. Ideally, I would be doing this with a week's vacation, not in the dead of summer, and a seasoned Triumph mechanic along for the adventure... but... first things first. Needs more money.
While it wouldn't be impossible to prep the car for such a long drive.....you'd be a brave man! I thought I was brave when I bought my last TR-6 and drove it from NH to FL in February! That was a running / driving car though.....this one is not.
As I stated---- this is a great start for a restoration (solid, straight, early car)---- it is not a driver, and I'm not claiming it as such.
That said......if you are looking for an adventure, I'm taking ALL offers. I know I'll take a loss, as I have over $4K in it, but it needs to get gone! Too many projects, to little time and space. sound familiar anyone!
