OK. Just joined this forum, and has me thinking about all my projects...

Now I regret promising my "Financial Manager" I would get rid of so many, but its worth it!

I'm not really prepared to start this ad, but all I'll do is keep putting it off, so be patient with me!

I have a 06 Dodge Magnum wagon I DD for a while till I blew a head gasket in the 2.7. Front end bodywork by TN deer, but was still drivable. Dash disassembled for electrical ghost (fixed) but only partially reassembled. Rear trailing arm damaged moving around my property. Still runs (rough) but blowing water out the exhaust. Will let go for challenge deal , or JY pricing! (clear title)

Have a 99 Astro Van with trans. prepped for towing; very stout. Shift Kit, Cooling/Filter, and EFI Live coupon (in TN) for shift points. Still towed the trailer home with water in exhaust, even after new Intake Gaskets. Clear title. Available for Challenge Deal, or...

98 Astro Std.Roof Conversion AWD bought for heads in case the 99 head was steam cut, but i have not driven... needs fuel pump... supposedly!  might be able to get a title, Available for Challenge Deal, or JY pricing!

96 Firebird 3800 AT W/no drive line, steering rack, interior, and most body parts removed. Anywone want it? Do have a 3800 w/5speed, but not from same car.

97 Firebird Formula from original owner. 172K miles with less than normal maintenance! Original OptiSpark still running! Lots of parking lot damage, needs windshield, T-tops leaked while sitting in woods for years. I pulled it out, removed the entire interior for cleaning, and put more than half back in! Cleaned up nice. Plastic body work that is damaged was remover from parts car and goes with it. If I pull the T56 out, its pretty cheap. The T56 will cost ya more than the running LT1 (now that its not going in the van) Formula, and parts car together! But you GRM guys can talk me into helping with a Challenge Build with the full car... as long as we tell my wife I don't own it anymore!!!! Original owner would be glad to see her baby on a track , also!

I've got room outside to work on this stuff, a dirt floor pole barn with no electric (although there is a pole with former service), and tools; when I can find 'em. But working nights, and sleeping all day. If a Team wanted to play with any of this stuff, I'm just west of Dothan AL. Not far from Ft Rucker - Army 'Copter Base.

And I also have a project truck: early 90's Ford F450 (called a Super Duty before they used the name in 99-up) 79 460 w/Carb, 5 speed with hyd pto. 10 lug 16" rims

while working on all new ignition system, and new rear brakes.

But I actually need real money for this! $2500 with everything needed to get it running right. Will go up as i fix it up more.

So does the Firechicken actually start and move?   I'm not suggesting it can drive home somewhere, just trying to gauge it's level of GM-ness....and how much do you actually want for it?  I'm in Atlanta, too close to you.....

I could use the 5-speed from the 3800, as I already have a 3800. What are you looking to get for the 5-speed, or both engine and 5-speed if they go together?

I ran across the 98 AWD Astro looking for 4.3 heads... the guy's story was he had gotten from a older lady he bought a motorhome from. Supposedly was running fine till it needed a fuel pump. He pulled the tank, put a new autozone pump in, put the tank back in and the new pump was bad. Dropped tank, returned pump, and never did any more too it. He did get a JY bumper support and cover. Interior is there - he bragged about how great shape its in, but my opinion is different! All brown leather captain chairs, only drivers shows a lot oof wear, but very dirty ( I found water standing in ashtray when I looked!) Van could definitely be brought back with a lot of elbow grease.

If I remember right, has about 168K miles. Mismatched tires in stock sizes.

I'll get some pictures of the back seats and check the milage over weekend when I get over to the barn.

Also need to sell our custom camper hauler. 99 Cabriolet Sportliner on a FL 50 Chassis. 7.2 Liter 3126 Cat (275hp / 800 tq) Allison 3060 World Class 6sp AT. Lots of goodies. Alum. Western Hauler banged up, repaint peeling on hood, interior needs to be finished from recent floor re-work for accessability. would take $12,500; will go up to $18 as i finish it. One day. Not as clean as the $35 to $80K ones I see for sale, but I think my price is more fair! No current pictures, but this is when we bought it for for $30K w/99Kmiles. Has 142K now. $8K in repairs to get ir running as well as the Sleaze Sales said it did (Buyer Beware, but I didnt) and a lot of upgrades, before we bought a motorhome.

Wow, that seems like a nice Freightliner.  You see all these hot-shotter freight guys running F350's and similar.  It seems to me that moving up to a real Medium Duty rig like this would make so much more sense and be so much more enjoyable.

$12.5k wont buy that much in the way of a diesel, crew cab F350.  Certainly not one with this low miles.

Missed your reply back then! We were towing a 31' 5er with a NICE 95 F350. Towed fine, but we wanted more room for the dogs, and my wife LOVED the air ride seats. WOW what a difference in towing! went to a 36' triple slide... still didn't even know it was behind it. Towed AZ, NM, and back and forth across the Continental Divide on way to N. NV. Did slow down to 45 across those hills, but set the cruse and relax!

The maint. cost were more than expected, but a hot shot guy would still come out ahead.

Did put the 36' behind the 350 for one trip to FL. Towed fine, but not as efortless!

Didn't get much interest in the formula, but I haven't pulled it out of the barn yet either! I'm still trying to get my workshop set up so I can work indoors!

I have decided I'm going to offer the running LT1 up for $850. Can come hear it run before I pull it. These cars, even daily driver ready, are worth less than the sum of their parts. I was hoping someone would want to do something odd with it, but time to start parting it out I guess.

I try to upload a couple more pictures of the firebird from my phone... Slow!

I bought the half striped white car for parts, with the fender, headlight door, and nose I needed still there. Pulled the parts off where I bought it in TN, put  'em in the "tow car" in case I had problems towing through the mountains on a dolly, but everything went fine.
