Ugh, I'm still super bummed about this.
I've got a basket-case Thunder Roadster I acquired last year that I've hit a couple local auto-crosses with, but the frame is all hacked up, the front clip is missing, it has no body, and has a GSXR1000 power-plant instead of the usual FJ or Hayabusa motor options. Anyways, this thing would've been absolutely perfect to swap components to and have a decent auto-x/trackday car, versus fixing my junk, and I happen to be local to where this car was located for sale, so it seemed providential.
Long story short, I contacted this kid within hours of the posting going up on Friday, and made an offer which he accepted. I was ready to pick it up ASAP, but he stated he couldn't meet until Monday, and gave me all the details on when and where to meet when I contacted him again on Sunday.
Then Monday rolls around and I send a text that morning confirming that I've loaded up my truck and trailer and will meet him that evening, and just get back "it's sold".
Apparently it was too much to ask for him to even notify me : (
Anyways, if anyone happens to have a T-Roadster roller for sale in or around N. California - I'm interested.
