The Miata was at one point campaigned at least regionally. I wonder if it was the sellers originally.

Actually.....Looking at the miata, That may have been mine at some point. It looks just like the 95 I ran in ES for a few years. Nothing special just a set of konis and RB front bar on it. Ran it in the national tour events in Dallas and Houston.

It's a great idea, but yeesh that's a lot to ask for two $1000 cars and a $1500 motor.

It's unlikely to ever go 220 mph though, so I bet you can swap that rare dash for the more plebian Hayabusa model.

Only way a Spitfire will hit 220 MPH would be to drop it out of the back of a C-17 from about 5 miles up. Other than that, even a new Dodge Demon 840 HP V8 engine swap won't do it......

According to This calculator, you are correct. With completely accurate numbers (pulled directly from my butt), the TV of a spitfire is about 300 mph!

I wouldn't mind the motor as I have an idea in mind. Fortunately this is far away.

This is why I love this bar...

(Upon reading Dherr's post, I was tempted to do that same calculation)
