I got offered a creampuff 50k mile one that the engine let go on for $50 when I was 16. I said no, then a buddy at school's great runner had a shock rot through the body and he offered it to me for $50. Could have had a no rust gtx for $100 all in
I really liked mine. It was just the right size and felt surprisingly burly. The handling didn't wake up until you pitched it into a corner hard enough to get some rear slip angle, then it turned into a pure rally car.
No mention of what is wrong with it in the add. Only two hours from me.
I had one. It was a blast! I autocrossed it and it was the first car I ever took on a racetrack. Then I learned about the transmissions. Sold it shortly thereafter.
