I've never heard of these, but definitely looks fun: Westfield XTR2 in eBay
I saved a few pictures for when the eBay listing disappears:
900 lbs? Wow...

I'm lazy. Being the inexpensive Caterham is what Westfield used to be famous for. So is this just rear engined covered Lotus 7?
It's a kit car, no loophole needed. It was Westfield's way of taking on Radical, I think.
If Caterham can build the 21, why can't Westfield build a Radical?
i'm just not sure if I understand the dirty air filter/sock thingy. I mean if it had just come off the podium for an overall win at LeMans and was headed for the museum yeah but on a for sale ad or am I just color blind and it's not dirt?
ya know I'm gonna go out there and say the 21 hasn't aged well. That's the first time I've seen a pic of one well since the first few years of release. I guess it was a Ginetta fighter at the time and certainly a grow or die moment for the company but it's kind of an IT girl style wise all these decades later.
I noticed “reverse” isn’t mentioned in the specs. I can’t imagine trying to actually use that on the streets. You’d get run over in parking lots, if it even had enough ground clearance to get into/out of most of them.
Bike engines cars are rarely very happy on the street. There are reverse boxes available if you want to do that.
The air filter looks like the foam is breaking down. Easy enough fix but, yeah, swap that out before taking the studio shots!
I think the 21 would benefit from a different set of wheels. They’re not helping the datedness of the design at all.
I think it's Beautiful Hit's My Desire button with a Sledge Hammer, A more Civilized Engine with a Reverse would help STREET sales, But That's B A
With the roll bar, I'm not sure this car is much shorter than a Spitfire, if any. Everything looks like an SUV when I drive that car.
Okay, I really like that! I also can't see how it is any more dangerous than my MX5 or Triumphs, which no one sees anyway when they are driving and come over into my lane. I also have to comment on the intake "sock". The engine shots are underwhelming for such a great looking exterior.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Caterham could build the 21, but they sure couldn't sell them! I still like it, but I have only seen the one they had at Goodwood FoS 1997, and production had already stopped...
Holy E36 M3....... I assemble this car myself...my buddy Jack Tovey orderded this kit from england and when all his buddies chicken out I took on it....It took us a whole year to get it done
That thing is cool. Reminds me of a 3/4 sized LMP2 car.
There's turbo kits available for Hayabusa's if you really want to turn it up to 11.

The problem with a car engine is the weight. Part of what attracts me to this car is the 900 lb weight, which is made possible by the light bike engine. A car engine would need a stronger, heavier chassis and correspondingly stronger and heavier running gear. Eventually it snowballs into a car that isn't the same.
That said, as neat as the XTR2 is, I'm still holding out for the Abarth SP1000 kit with a longitudinally mounted engine and a Transworks Mini-Diff.
