I see the ad says the AC was removed. Do you have the AC parts or are they gone? Also, does the drivers seat recline? Looks like it does, but can't tell for sure.

Really nice. Will definitely finish above my price point.

It was removed by the PO but I do have (what I think is) most of the parts (compressor, condenser, lines), but the aluminum compressor bracket was modified and would have to be replaced.

Seat is on sliders and reclines.

FYI, dad just sold his 1983 SC EURO with a bunch of goodies, non original motor (15k in motor parts alone...), with all the spare parts and tools for $34k.

Put it up on the PCA MART. (need to be a member.)

His paint was slightly better, full corbeaus, bilstein sport shocks all around, turbo torsion bars, etc...

Only posting to give you an idea. Concours quality goes for 80k right now...

Looks nice. Regret selling mine a couple of years too soon

In reply to Mad_Ratel:

80k for a mint one? Highly doubtful.

15k in engine parts? Hard to imagine. I've been around and owned air cooled 911s for 30 years and outside of a true racing motor, you should never get near 15k. Heck 15k is stout on a good rebuild.

80k is the benchmark concours winning car. Original, low mileage etc. Average price is 30-40k now for an 80's 911. below 30k is going to be a car with known issues, spot rust, engine smoking, leaking oil etc.

have you shopped a set of mahle pots and pistons lately? webcam racing 993 supersport cams? all the one time use bolts? new block (since a certain charlotte vendor (since closed shop) did a bad job machining the bearings and a connect rod tore a whole in the block). 964 oil pump?. tuned length headers and BB muffler was 2500 dollars by itself.

Dad's receipts alone over the past 20 years exceeded $65k. Car cost $16k in 1996.. including three rebuilds, one which was a new set of pistons/cylinders and fresh bearings, two was to fix number one's machine shop blunder, three was dad hearing noises so he took the entire thing apart to verify (5k in parts that time).... The final combo has and will keep up with a Testarossa (driven by Ferrari instructor.) It also kept up with It's current owner, who was driving his 2014 911 Turbo S. (who freely says he's no racing driver). The only dyno was of the second motor which put down 250 rwhp and screamed to 7k rpm.

Not sure where you are shopping for cars and parts. SCs can still be had for sub 20. Really nice ones are close to 30. They were low teens forever. FWIW, I never include an exhaust in the price of a rebuild.
