It should handle a SBF, the Falcon did, as well as the Fairlane. All similar chassis with different wheelbases.My father had a 1962 Meteor (Fairlane chassis) with a 221 cu.in. small block in it. The 221 block has the same external dimensions as a 302.
I like it. Unfortunately, no title, and the seller's suggestion of getting it titled through Vermont isn't possible from what I've seen here.
I had a 62 Comet with a 289 and 3 speed toploader. It was a fun little car. Weighed 2600lbs with me, my golf clubs and a half tank of gas. All the 1st gen mustang upgrade bits bolt on except that the leaf springs are a different width, iirc. The factory axle is a 7.25" but an 8" out of a later V8 car bolts in.
