I have a friend who bought a cherry of a LeBaron - white on white. Low mileage, one owner, mint, etc, etc. Two months later the tranny packed up. He now owns a couple parts cars.

The A-604 4-speed were crap back then. Replace with a freshly rebuilt unit with all of the factory improvements and firmware updates, run the PROPER fluid and they'll do better.

Or don't buy a V-6 model without a manual, because only the turbo models are worth anything, IMO.

The link is dead but if it's listed from Detroit Lakes, I've seen that listed. No idea why so high. Maybe the sellers spouse said to get rid of it. He/she didn't want to sell so they priced it crazy high on purpose?

And that vid almost had me until he put on the porn red driving gloves and at the end where the top wouldn't go all the way down.
