I have had several over the years.
I sold a track prepped one two years back. I sold a turbo one after the challenge about five years ago.
I would like a stockish one or a tastefully molded example. They all seemed to have disappeared.
Thanks for the help...
Here are some of the previous ones I have owned...
Check out the Facebook group FloridaSR20s that is the best place to start. ALSO the SR20 national convention will be hosted in Gainesville Florida this year again. The same hotel as the GRM challenge and then a track day at the firm. There will be more FWD Sr20s all at one time in Gainesville than any where on the planet. The dates are April 5-7. The 6th is the track day. There will be plenty of opportunities to make deals I would assume at that event.

Great ideas! Thanks. I actually instructed at the 2009 sr20 convention when it was in Savannah.
The guy that bought the white one in the pictures I posted brought it to the convention last year.
There's one for sale (NX2000) in Millersville, MD that's prepped for autocross for challenge money. It's on FB marketplace

I wish we'd never sold the B13 SE-R we ran on the BABE Rally in, um, 2007? It was a fun little car.
Dumb question - what visual cues confirm it’s an SE-R? I’ve seen one around town, and while not for sale I think it could be bought/traded for rather reasonably. I’m just not 100% sure it’s an SE-R. It has the front fascia with fog lights like one.

In reply to Pete Gossett :
They have four wheel disc brakes.
There was an se model that has fog lights and the same bumper with the 1.6 engine but I am pretty sure it has rear drums.
In reply to pimpm3 :
Thanks! I’ll take a peek the next time I see it.

Small world, I was at the Convention in '09 with one of my friends. We co-drove Dave Coleman's old SCC SE-R for the day and had a blast!
I have a lot of love for the SE-Rs and the G20s after that weekend! Unfortunately most of them up here have fallen victim to the rust bug.

Nice I had a maroon 1994 back then with 280k miles. It was fun doing the track day at roebling with it. I still have the t shirt.

Talked to him today and as long as everything looks good in the pictures he is sending I will be picking it up.
Thanks for the tip! I should know tomorrow.
I've had 3 B13 SE-R's, 1 B14, and 3 NX2000's over the years. They are nearly impossible to find in good shape these days. Most have rot, and have been through several poorly-done engine swaps. Glad you found one that meets your needs.

This one sounds well sorted, and is apparently rust free.
I suspect that you'll do well at the challenge with it. In fact I suspect that you'll win the gastropod class with it.
There's this one as well (SE-R) but it's the wrong coast and can't be tagged
You're going to make me get the limited slip and M62 on the escort so that I don't embarrass myself.

If it wasn't on the wrong coast I would have bought that one when they originally posted it.

Deal is done!
I need to arrange shipping. A build thread will be started in true GRM fashion before I take possession.
Thank you captdownshift for the tip.
