Mark, If you have any "cast off" trailer in that range let me know as I have been on the look out myself for some time and anything in that price range has been a smoldering pile of E36 M3 with no title.

A few 20 foot landscape trailers around but the need the side door, etc. not expecting beauty. Just function. New they are only 4.5-5k.

biggest problem you are going to find is they don't really depreciate. A $5k trailer typically resells for $3500-$4000. At least here in FL, $2500 will get you a nice open trailer or a small and narrow enclosed trailer.

You are asking several thousand people who are competing with you looking for the exact same thing to tell you about it when they find that rare bargain?
Good luck.

Not so with trailers.

^^^ Because a cheap enclosed trailer is a cheap garage/storage space that draws less unwanted attention than the cars we put in them.

Guy hasn't gotten back to me and I'm concerned about the title issue
I think there is a way to go through Maine and get a new title, might want to look into that route before buying.

One note...
A 24' landscape trailer almost certainly has (2) 3500 lb axles. That's a little light for a car trailer that size. You want the 5200 lb axles.
3500 is OK on a 20'.
The owner will probably not know the difference.
Good point. That and a side door is mandatory. The 5k ebay ones may be utility and not car trailers. There was a sweet barely used 24 at a dealer near me for 5k but it had a lot of options including aluminum wheels and roof a/c
4 years ago I paid $4995 for my 24' V Nose Diamond Cargo car trailer. It has been fantastic. I cant remember the dealer, but if interested I could find the receipt for contact info. Dealer was on the west coast of FL (Largo area).

That's about right. I'm a Diamond Cargo dealer.
