My 13 year-old has discovered Del Sols and we're looking for a project car. The plan is to work hard, learn, and have it nice and reliable by the time he's driving. Rust is ok and non running is ok. All trims and transmissions are ok.
Budget is challenge and way less.
We're in Lubbock, TX but can make the trip to bring home a good candidate.
Just a note, as someone from the Midwest, you really don't want one of these with rust. They rust in places where it's basically unfixable. You just cut out the rust to find more rust and by the time you're done there's no car left. Otherwise, sounds like a cool father/son project!
