Yeah, to San Francisco. :( Didn't really want to go, but it's where the job took me.
The hope and dream was for it to be registered, but it didn't happen (no permanent VIN). Probably can be worked around with time, but I've got none of that to spare now.

It runs and drives fine and needs nothing as it is.

I'm a bit unclear on the "No permanent VIN" thing-what do you mean by that?
Previous owner gutted it, no dash board. Completely slipped my mind when I bought it.
You can get a Vin re-issued but the process takes more time than I have.
E36 M3, I'd pick this thing up in a heartbeat if you weren't in OR.
Thankfully the one guy at the DEQ was wrong, all registered and past emissions, I get to keep the track rat.
