Guy says it dosen't start and just wants it gone. If it checks out it could be a smoking deal....
That's actually full Blue Book value for a running X5. I can't see how that's a good deal or worth the gamble.
I love how these ads claim they are giving away the vehicle because they just don't have the time to figure it out. How does it make sense to give a heavy discount rather than pay a couple hundred for a proper diagnostic? Either way, this isn't discounted enough for a non-running mystery BMW.
I am not sure why I hate wood-grain trim in anything other than a chauffeur driven car or on the exterior of an old land barge.

Wow, really? That seems like a lot of car for the money. Since it's a mid-2000s BMW, I'm assuming there is some huge catch?
Twin cities with palm trees?
"- New BMW dealer installed transmission ~$7K. Peace of mind "
But won't fix a won't start after it sitting for the summer?
My GRM-bull-E36 M3-O-meter sense is tingling.

The add says it came out of California. Hence the palm trees.
Edit: Ok.. I'm coming around to this being a scam maybe. Guy in the add says to call with no phone number... hmm..
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/cto/5829085047.html <-- here's one running and driving for not much more. I'm intrigued by these things.
