Unless the "minor rust" is bad enough for parts to be falling off, that's a decent price. And despite being very ugly body lines, I'd rock it proudly!
Almost bought the 2-door version of this a few years ago. It had a floor shifter too. Oddly enough, it has pretty much the same wheelbase as Chrysler didn't want to spend the extra $$$$ to change the chassis. Makes it look unique!
I could almost be tempted to go back on my promise to not build any more hot rods for myself promise. That this is cool. Yeah, it would have an LS.

A lot of 2dr cars were same wheelbase as their 4dr brothers. Not uncommon.
Now in this newfangled fwd all-look-the-same age, I couldn't tell ya
My parents had a 1960 Valiant that I may have modified a little. It was almost perfectly balanced and handled well enough to embarrass some sports cars. That motor would pull to 7,000 rpms a spin the tires shifting to 2nd with the push button trans. As Hungary would say, Good Times!
