So Monday of last week I was at the auction and came across yet another strange car.
Of course I bought it because I am a sucker for weird cars.
It is a 5-speed Dodge Stealth RT. It's not the turbo unfortunately but is the FWD NA model with 222 hp. It is in good shape and has low mileage. The AC works and so does the heat. The radio turns on but makes no sound.
Interior is in good shape as is the exterior. There is a small weird rust spot on the trunk lid that I covered with a piece of tape. That is the only rust I could find.
I will grab some interior pictures tomorrow.
How does $3600 sound for a GRM'er.
You could cross link this to the unicorn thread.
I spent a lot of time in one of those in high school. Put a black and red interior in it and it would be exactly the same. It was definitely a car you wanted to call shotgun in and it was way more fun than 222hp should be.
Nice pick up for the money, it has to turn heads on the street. The style has aged well and you never see them anymore.
I spotted a running and driving Stealth RT/TT in the parking lot at work not too long ago. I was shocked it was still moving under its own power.
Funny how geography affects unicorn status. There are lots of these in Northampton County PA., most real beaters.

There’s one I frequently see parked at a bar at the end of the street by Aeromoto’s shop. I can only presume his ownership experience and achoholism are not unrelated.
At least the NA cars are reasonably reliable.

I need to start going to the auctions you are going to....... :)
I love these things (though subjectively the ES was the better looking NA DOHC Stealth ) they're just plain great long distance GT cars. It's totally impractical for my current situation however.
I owned one of these in HS. I took it to Sebring and warped the brake rotors in 3 laps. Lol
She wants this too......
Let me get the first one home honey!
Great looking interior. As mentioned, these were Grand Tourers. I bet that its great a absorbing lots of highway miles.
Does the pano roof open ?
If if you find a 2+2, 300zx 1992+ Ttop, MT
or a 91/92 MT Supra
i have cash ready looking for either car

The roof does open with a crank
Friend had one identical to this one in HS. If I recall correctly it really woke up with exhaust and a lightened flywheel. Was a fun car to cruise around with.
Fun fact: if you lift up the shift boot, there’s ample room to hide your weed.

If you buy one car from Pimpm3, it is highly likely that you'll buy another. I have bought 4 from him!
Great price. Had the '95 3000gt version of the car. Was a great highway driver. Really great factory sound system for the time if you can get it to work (may be an issue with the external amplifier under the passenger seat). Any idea if the timing belt was done?
