A BMW M1 Procar certainly garners attention. This one, though, might be worth a more detailed look. It competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring, along with many other IMSA races.
Walker Brown Racing first took possession of this M1 Procar in 1982. It then made its IMSA competition debut the following year in the Portland 3 Hours and then participated in the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring in 1984, and once again in the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1986.
The BMW’s current owner purchased it in February 2018 and had it completely restored, with receipts totaling around €150,000. Its livery was returned to the traditional colors of BMW Motorsport.
