Here’s your chance to obtain not only an ultra-rare Corvette, but one raced by a prolific driver, in this case Toly Arutunoff. The gentleman racer was a “contemporary and competitor to Bob Bondurant, Phil Hill, Richie Ginther, Dan Gurney, Ak Miller and Carroll Shelby,” according to the seller.

Only 66 Chevrolet Corvette Big Tank Coupes were built in 1966. The big tank refers to the larger 36-gallon fuel tank that was better suited for endurance racing.

This example is also one of only 15 fitted with a close-ratio Muncie M22 “Rock Crusher” 4-speed manual gearbox and one of just 382 to come with J56 heavy-duty brakes.

Find this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Big Tank Coupe up for auction at Mecum, with an estimated winning bid of $325,000-$350,000.
