How does an AC Cobra with a full carbon body and a Lotus Twin-Turbo V8 sound? Well, that’s what this Cobra 212 S/C is, one of just two built by AC Car Group.

The car weighs just 900 kg (1984 pounds), with a 3.5-liter engine rated for 345 horses. The power plant is paired with a six-speed Tremec.

Of the two cars produced, one was red–which was used for press purposes–and the other was black–this one. This example was privately owned. The seller says the Cobra remains in “totally original” condition.

Find this 2001 AC Cobra 212 S/C on Iconic Auctioneers, with an estimated value of £90,000-£110,000 (approximately $115,000-$140,000 USD).

Carbon fiber body? Twin-turbo V8?

This thing sounds like an absolute riot to drive.

It does, doesn't it? I wonder if the added weight of the V8 is a drawback, though. Maybe it would be even crazier if you K-swap it or put a rotary in it? Okay, okay, I know - sacrilege.
