Finished in Lapis Blue Metallic, it’s easy to see why this Mercedes-Benz 500 SEL is called “Blueberry.”

The bespoke AMG-crafted model was built under the guidance AMG head Hans Werner Aufrecht as a Christmas gift to AMG North America founder Richard Buxbaum and his wife.

This Mercedes-Benz is being sold from Buxbaum’s ownership. It has received more than $120,000 in mechanical and cosmetic recommissioning since October 2022.

Find this 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEL 5.0 AMG “Blueberry” for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of $150,000-$200,000.
