Race cars often live fast, disposable lives, but this 1959 Austin-Healey Sprite has somehow managed to survive–and presents today in an all-original, unrestored condition.

The Sprite only shows 19,501 miles on its odometer, all of which are said to be original. The car is also reported to never have had a DNF and never been crashed–aside from a “disagreement with an Oldsmobile in a parking lot.”

Period racing modifications currently fitted to the Austin-Healey include an Excelsior motorcycle muffler, Army surplus seatbelts, a roll bar constructed from well casing and Michelin X tires from the early ‘60s.

I like how it tells you how much horsepower it makes right there on the side of the car!
