Sir Stirling Moss. Peter Collins. Major Tony Rolt. Eric Thompson. All these drivers, among others, took turns competing with this 1950 Aston Martin DB2 in period at major motorsports events.

This works car was built to race in the 1950 24 Hours of Le Mans. Unfortunately, the car never made it as the body was damaged in transit. However, the DB2 went on to compete in many other events.

In addition to on-track fame, it also made splashes in publications as a press car, gracing the cover of The Autocar in 1950 and Autosport in 1951.

Find this 1950 Aston Martin DB2 Team Car up for auction at Bonhams, with an estimated value of £800,000–£1,200,000 (approximately $1,000,000-$1,500,000 USD).
