Want a “genuine” dune buggy, and not just a derivative? This 1962 Meyers Manx is about as genuine as dune buggies get.

Reported to be one of the first 150 bodies made by Manx–better known as “pre-tag” examples–the buggy comes fitted with a number of period accessories like a Grant wood steering wheel, fiberglass bucket seats and engine skid plate.

The Manx also comes powered by a later 1600cc VW engine equipped with Solex carburetors plus “a few performance enhancements which help with overall power and ease of operation.”

Finished in its original orange gelcoat, this 1962 Meyers Manx is available from Fantasy Junction via a Bring a Trailer auction.
