If you grabbed the January 1981 issue of Dutch car magazine Autovisie off the magazine rack and cracked it open to read its review of the Audi quattro, you would be greeted by this very car.

Among the earliest examples built, this Ur-quattro was the very first one to be registered in the Netherlands, where it served as a press car loaned to various media outlets to test and review.

Later in 2010, according to the seller, the Audi underwent “an extreme restoration” that brought the car back to its original 1980s specifications.

Find this 1980 Audi Ur quattro for sale from Gallery Aaldering for €123,500, or approximately $136,241 USD.
