This is the car Jody Scheckter used en route to the 1979 Formula One World Drivers’ Championship. It’s also the last F1 drivers’ championship under the guidance of the namesake of the marque, Enzo Ferrari.
In addition to the championship, Scheckter drove this car to three victories in 1979–Belgian, Monaco and Italian Grands Prix.
This is also Ferrari’s first full ground-effect grand prix car. It remains incredibly original since it last raced.
