What did the last driver personally selected by Enzo Ferrari for Scuderia Ferrari have in his garage? A Ferrari, of course. This one, in fact, was once owned by Nigel Mansell.
The car comes with further “documentation” that Mansell once owned it. The Ferrari features a commemorative plaque on the door jamb noting its famous first owner. Its service book also carries stamps from Nigel Mansell Sports Cars Limited of Dorset.
At the end of 1990, the Ferrari was acquired by its second owner. As far as mileage, it’s a bit more less concrete than its F1 royalty provenance. The service records suggest the speedometer was replaced in 1997, when the odometer read 8333 miles. The replacement reads 2269.
Find this 1990 Ferrari Testarossa for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of $175,000-$215,000.
