What’s more desirable than an Aston Martin DB4 that retains its numbers-matching engine? How about one first owned by professional golfer and eventual World Golf Hall of Fame inductee Ken Venturi?

Delivered new in California, the Series IV DB4 remained in the United States until 1992, when the car went on to spend time in private collections in both Germany and Japan. Returning stateside in 2013, the Aston Martin received an upgraded suspension, telescopic rear shock absorber conversion, a carburetor rebuild, complete brake service and more.

More recently–within the past year–the DB4 underwent a cosmetic restoration that stripped the body down to bare metal before repainting, plus refurbished the interior with new carpeting, headliner, dash, and upholstery.

Find this 1961 Aston Martin DB4 Series IV for sale via RM Sotheby’s with an asking price of $800,000
