An artist’s final work can often be the most influential, most moving or most memorable of their career–pieces like Claude Monet’s Les Grandes Décorations, Keith Haring’s Unfinished Painting and Frida Kahlo’s Viva La Vida, Watermelons.
Can the same also be said of the last automobiles created by a car company’s founder?
The De Tomaso Guarà stands as the last car designed and produced with input from founder Alejandro de Tomaso before he passed in 2003.
This particular Guarà is extra unique as it’s the rarer Barchetta model, of which, less than 10 are known to have built.
Showing fewer than 500 kilometers (approximately 310 miles) this Guarà Barchetta is powered by a BMW M60 V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
In addition to a service in August 2023 totaling over $6000, the Guarà is noted to be accompanied by several documents including the car’s original sales paperwork and a certificate or origin from De Tomaso.
Find this 1995 De Tomaso Guarà Barchetta for sale from Classic Motorcars for $295,500.
