Why have the same BMW as everyone else? Here we have a car that wasn’t available in the U.S. due to the emissions standards: a 1970 BMW 2002 Ti.

Two versions of the Ti were made available: One had a single carburetor producing 99 horsepower, the other featured dual carburetors and higher compression pumping out 118 horsepower. This is the latter.

The lively orange 1970 BMW 2002 Ti was brought from Sweden to the United States in 2017 and underwent a mechanical restoration in 2018. Just one year later, new tires as well as engine mounts were fitted.

Find this 1970 BMW 2002 Ti for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of $30,000-$40,000.
