In the Porsche world, rare means a lot. How about this for rare: Porsche only built 267 copies of its 964-chassis Carrera 4 fitted with the wide-body Turbo look package.
Bonhams is about to offer one of them.
While this package included the wider flares found on the Turbo cars, it didn’t include the matching tail. So, as a result, this car retains the automatically articulating spoiler found on the standard cars. At speeds south of 75 mph, it resembles a wingless, wide-body 911–not a common pairing.
How much for this Porsche rarity? Bonhams says $160,000 to $200,000.
