One of the most luxurious cars money could buy, circa 1970? The Mercedes-Benz 600 Series–specifically, the long wheelbase 600 Pullman.

One of approximately 300 produced, this example for sale was delivered new to Libyan Development Company, though is believed to have been used by King Idris of Libya.

In 2014, the car underwent a refurbishment totaling more than $150,000, per the listing, that included repainting the body in black, reupholstering the interior as well as overhauling the suspension, brakes, and exhaust.

More recently, the car was used during the filming of The Man in the High Castle limited series.

A tool kit, car cover, copy of the data card and a clean Oregon title accompany the car.

Find this 1970 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman listed for sale from Fusion Motor Company for $275,000.

For those who have forgotten, King Idris was the last king of Libya before Gaddafi took over.

I noticed that during my cursory research. I've bookmarked his Wikipedia entry for further reading mainly because I don't know much of the history of that part of the world.
