This Ferrari 250 GT represents Maranello’s first-ever series of convertibles. Since they were constructed in Pinin Farina’s custom shop, rather than the factory floor, many consider these models as one-offs due to customized trim details and interior amenities.

This particular Series I Cabriolet came with covered headlamps, front bumperettes and unique side vents.

Furthermore, this is a full matching-numbers example, retaining its original chassis, engine, gearbox, rear axle and body.

Find this 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series I by Pinin Farina up for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of $4,850,000-$5,500,000.
