Do classics always have to be in concours-ready condition, or is a bit of patina okay as long as it’s drivable?

This 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL is offered as a “nicely preserved West Coast” car that features “enjoyably used cosmetics” both inside and out.

The 190SL is reported to start, stop and drive, though the seller notes the steering is loose and the clutch slips when warm.

Find this 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL up for auction from Fantasy Junction. As a point of reference, Hagerty currently values a 190SL of this vintage in No. 4 condition at $69,000.
