Pop-up fog lights on a Ferrari? But not just any Ferrari, one of six Speciale examples for the 330 GTC platform.

Delivered to automotive designer Sergio Pininfarina for GTC-model development, this 1966 Ferrari 330 is the fourth vehicle in the GTC production chain.

The most notable difference created by Pininfarina? The supervis pop-up fog lights fitted to the nose. Having only appeared on two of the four 330 GTC Speciales, these lights were originally penned by Aldo Brovarone for the Superfast I concept car.

Another design change for the 330? The trading of the fender vents for hood vents–which were deemed a more effective alternative for engine bay cooling and later implemented into 365 GTC and 365 GT 2+2 production.

Restoration of this Ferrari began in 1996 with engine and transmission work but came to a halt soon after. In 1999, coachbuilder Steve Moal resumed the project, adding on nose and headlight restoration. In 2002, the Ferrari stood complete and sporting its factory color of Blu Scuro with a tan interior.

Or so they thought.

From 2022 to 2024, the Ferrari underwent a complete mechanical refurbishment by Ferrari specialists at Bob Smith Coachworks, returning it to running and driving condition. The total cost? More than $60,000.
