Bill Jobe won the SCCA B-Production Southwest Divisional Championships in 1971 and 1972 with this Chevrolet Corvette. Before that, he scored five consecutive regional autocross championships with it.
Under the hood is a 331-cubic-inch, fuel-injected V8 built by Traco Engineering. The men behind Traco Engineering, Jim Travers and Frank Coon, served as co-chief mechanics on Bill Vukovich’s Indy 500-winning cars in 1953 and 1954.
The car has been comprehensively restored to its Road Atlanta specs in 1971, when Jobe won a pair of races with it.
