Talk about rare: This Ferrari Daytona left the factory as one of 26 sporting Nocciola Metallizzato–to the rest of us, something akin to aged copper. And 53 years later, it's still turning heads, this time in classic Ferrari red.
Ordered in 1971, this Ferrari 365 GTB/4 came from factory with not just a Nocciola Metallizzato finish but also stands as one of 158 manufactured in right-hand drive.
But that’s not all.
The original owner also made two special requests: a wood-rimmed steering wheel as well as Borrani wire wheels with three-ear knock-off hubs.
This Ferrari stayed with gentlemen racer Robert “Bobby” Bell of Bell & Colvill, between 1976 and 2017, during which it received constant TLC and an engine rebuild by the Ferrari specialist Vincent Mezzullo.
Although the car has since been repainted in red over a tan leather interior with red inserts, it still sports the special requests from factory and in 2023 received certification by Ferrari Classiche.
