Ferrari released only 153 examples of its aluminum-bodied Dino 206 GT between 1967 and 1969. And this Ferrari stands as one of them.
This left-hand-drive chassis has also been all over the world, starting in Italy with its first owner, then eventually making its way through Milan, Southern California and the United Kingdom until ending its journey in Germany.
While in Germany, the car was repainted to red over black and received a Ferrari Classiche certification in 2007. However, once sold to a Munich resident, race car specialist Tom Fischer took over the maintenance and storage of this classic Ferrari.
This car has since been returned to its factory color combination of Argento over Nera vinyl seats and sports a set of Cromodora magnesium knock-off wheels. The Ferrari also retains its matching-numbers engine and alloy body.
Find this 1969 Ferrari Dino 206 GT up for auction at RM Sotheby’s on November 23, with an estimated value of $490,000-$600,000.
