Porsche only built 1580 copies of its famed 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Of those, only 25 were specially ordered in Gulf Orange.

This 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring was further fitted with special options: headrests for both seats, a pair of white fog lights, a radio antenna and cabin speakers.

After being sold in 1984, this Porsche received a complete cosmetic refurbishment and has since received consistent care and even got a few upgrades like air conditioning and the period-correct “Carrera” graphics.

This Porsche stands accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and Kardex copy, a set of manuals, tools and service invoices dating back to the late 1970s.

Find this 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring for auction by RM Sotheby’s on January 24 with an estimated value of $450,000 to $550,000.
