Of the 22 Ferrari 340 examples built, just two received closed-roof coachwork from Carrozzeria Touring–and this is one of them.

Shortly after being displayed at the 1952 Brussels Motor Show, the Ferrari would be raced almost continuously throughout its history by the likes of Pierre d'Haveloose, Armand 'Blary' Blaton, Jacques Swaters–of Garage Francorchamps–and many more.

The well-documented and Ferrari Classiche-certified 340 America would later compete in a total of seven Mille Miglias between 1986 and 2017.

Find this 1951 Ferrari 340 America Berlinetta for auction from Bonhams with an estimated value of $3.3-$4.5 million.
