If you think this 1960 Corvette looks like most on the market, you’d be right. What makes this Chevy so special isn’t what’s on the outside, but on the inside–more specifically, the engine bay.

Noland Adams' book, "Corvette American Legend: 1958-1960 Production," lists this very car as one of only two 283/315 HP prototype models built for 1960.

In addition to its rare status, the Corvette has won several prizes including multiple NCRS Top Flight awards and the Duntov Mark of Excellence.

Find this 1960 Chevrolet Corvette Big Brake Fuelie Convertible for auction from Mecum on January 18.
